The idea is simple: Each day leading up to Christmas, you open a new door on the advent calendar and find a different Christmas cookie inside. These cookies will all be made with ingredients that I have picked up during my after-Christmas clearance hauls. And don't worry, I'll include the recipes for each cookie so you can bake them yourself if you want to.
To make this idea even more fun, I have decided to turn it into a subscription box. So, instead of just getting the cookies and recipes, you also get a fun box to store them in. Each week, you'll receive a new box with 7 new cookies and a sticker to mark which ones you have already tried. By the end of the month, you'll have 24 different cookies to try and a cute box to keep them in.
I'm still working out the details of how to make this happen, but I'm really excited about the idea. I think it's the perfect way to share my love of after-Christmas clearance shopping with my readers while also spreading a little holiday cheer.
